Jim Morris received his BBA, Accounting from the University of Georgia in 1975 as an honor graduate and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1981. He received his law degree from the Atlanta Law School in 1987 and became an attorney in 1988. In January 2000 he became a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning. Jim has more than 20 years of financial and legal experience and has worked for major corporations in the Atlanta area including, Scientific Atlanta, National Service Industries, Rock-Tenn Company and Cox Enterprises. He is a member of The State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Society of CPA’s, GSCPA’s Gwinnett Chapter, American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, Inc. (only 3% of Attorneys and CPA’s qualify for this), Estate, Gift and Trust Section of GSCPA, GSCPA’s Bar Liaison Committee and the Gwinnett County Bar Association.
